Glass for Table Top
Has anyone ever had a piece of glass cut for a table top? Any suggestions on where to go? It's for a dining room table that's about 55x35.
Bessie Will have to be custom ordered at a real glass shop, I'm sure (i.e. not Lowes/Home Depot type of places).
That kind of glass must be cut/polished before it's tempered, otherwise it will shatter.
There is a place in Flanders (never used them, though...)

Mark Mc. The Glass Place across the street from the Middle School does a great job. I've had a glass top made and a mirror and they did a great job.

MTSO We've used Matt's Glass twice, and were pleased; once for a small tempered piece of glass with beveled edges, and once for screening.
