Highly recommend this. Part 1 was on last night --- but surely it will be repeated if you missed it. Pt 2 on tonite at 8pm --- and repeated at 10pm.

Watched part 1 Sunday, and it was much more interesting and personable than I thought it'd be. After growing up near the Barge Canal, upstate NY, how interesting that it was a practice run by Teddy for the Panama Canal.

And inspirational ... setbacks to overcome, ideas to realize ...
Who knew?

Ah yes, when great Republicans were Progressives, when Progressives were only after a Square Deal, when Democrats were racists, then Republicans either became racist or became Democrats, married their cousins and became super Progressives. Ah simpler times.

Wait, everyone good was a Progressive..........what's up with that?
