Happy Halloween!
I love Halloween! It's so much fun. I hope everyone enjoys the day. BTW, let the kids eat candy until they puke! ;-)
Here is a site with some Halloween trivia and fun facts.

I will be outside in my wicker chair in my Santa hat (yes I look like Santa without any costume LOL) giving candy to all that come...........dress for success!
Happy Halloween!! Can't wait for the hundreds of trick-or-treaters my parents get and then off to a party..
Looking forward to the trick-or-treaters!!
(especially the little ones, the teens really should be out cruising, parking, or hanging with friends, not begging for candy LOL)
If you're old enough to drive and work, you're too old for me to give you candy. :)
We have never gotten a trick-or-treater ever. I usually buy one bag of candy just in case. My husband winds up eating it all. LOL
I love Halloween but I'm just not feeling it this year. I didn't have time to decorate or carve a pumpkin for the first time in years. I also have no desire to hand out candy or listen to my dog bark for 4 straight hours. I'm taking my little one to the event in town and maybe out for a little trick or treating and dinner.
I'll post a costume pic later, but here she is at school today.
there are old horror movies on tv today..some channels running marathon movies all day.it's fun watching them now and remembering how scared you were when you were younger..
Cute Tracy.
Please share your pictures everyone. I'm waiting for the niece and nephew costume pics to his FB. Then I will share them here.
I apologize in advance to any young children who I might scare to the point of tears tonight while handing out candy (and to their parents, too). But hey, as Sherriff Brackett said in the original "Halloween", everyone's entitled to one good scare!
Have a dark, spooky, safe and happy Halloween!
Love Halloween, I have off today, It's a Friday and it's my Birthday!
Taking my daughter out Trick-Or-Treating later, I always look forward to it :)
Hope there is a better turn out of houses handing out this year then last year, it was a bit disappointing in our neighborhood.

Calico, Like you, we don't get trick or treaters!! But, one of my not too far away neighbors drives her children up our steep and dangerous driveway, and I have special treats and some $$ that I give her children. And, Calico, you and I probably wouldn't eat any left over Halloween Candy since we both (if I remember correctly) weigh 106 pounds.
To All H'lifers and their children and grandchildren Have a Safe and Happy Halloween ... Enjoy!!
Mrs. Pipes - Good memory, you are correct. If anything, I might have one piece. They are Reese's Peanut Butter cups after all. ;-)
Weeanimal is adorable.
Here is one of my great nephew. My niece commented that it's his first costume of the day. Uh oh, that means there will be others. LOL
I'm not 100% sure, but I think he is supposed to be Frankenstein.
He's adorable. He looks like a Frankenstein that can play guitar with his feet. That's some spread he's got there. (-;
Just to clarify, the niece pictured above is a different niece than Frankenstein's mom. There are so many of them, it's hard to keep them straight.
A Halloween Treat!

Happy Halloween everyone!!! I bought a bag of Candy but i haven't had any kids to trick or treat :( well I guess I will end up eatong all the candy :).
Another great nephew on the left and great niece on the right. The one in the middle is not related to us. He's their cousin. Cute little turtles!
I got zero trick or treaters last year and I was left with so much candy...this year I buy none and get knocks at the door! I feel terrible!!!!
3 bags of candy - opened one --- had two kids ---ate 3 bars myself - next year - I hide or run away or something
I had 175 bags of cookies and candy and not one left..ok, one candy bar that Clyde took. I have to say, I've never seen so many polite children, most saying Thank You.
Happy Halloween

I should clarify my count by saying they were the snack bags of cookies and single candy bars.
Thanx to all who posted pictures of the Halloweenites in Costume .... they're all Great!
We are going to a Halloween party tonight (I know, I hate after the fact). So will post some pics from there as well.
Here's another good one. A friend's kids. They call us aunt and uncle, so they might as well be our nieces and nephews. This is an after trick-or-treating shot. Love their facial expressions!
Thought some might enjoy this...
