Donating items

I have a friend looking to unload a great amount of household items- frames, knick knacks, etc. She would like to donate ASAP, so calling Lupus, or other pickup services isn't practical. Any ideas? Thanks!!

I have taken items to Trinity Church in the past. Called them on a Saturday morning, dropped stuff off within the hour.

Try Salvation Army in Dover

Habitat for Humanity in Washington; they pick up I think.

East Stroudsburg also has a Salvation Army for immediate drop off.

I would recommend Trinity Church in Hackettstown. The church is very generous with their food pantry and many other charitable acts.

Goodwill in Rockaway. Maybe post in classifieds here, you never know who is in need and can create new gifts from your knick knacks. And I also second any church thrift store.

Church of the Messiah thriftstore in Long Valley. The church is right before the Hacklebarney State Park turn off rd.) off of rt. 24

Big Brothers Big Sisters is great! Get their phone number on line and set up a scheduled pick-up. Good luck
