Oops! Puppy chewed cable box wire...
So came home to find the power cord to the Comcast cable box completely chewed in half last night! One of the many pleasures of having a new puppy lol!! Just wondering if anyone has had to replace theirs? Can I go right to Port Murray to get a new one or do I have to call and order? Also approx. how much to replace?
Yes, I can/will call Comcast if I need to:) but before going through 15 automated selections I thought maybe someone here may have had this happen already! Thanks
JRT I would just drive to Port Murray. I'm sure they'll just grab a spare one for you. They have lots of spare parts available (boxes, cables, remotes.) Now, whether they charge you or not is a different story.

Lol Rebecka I'm not sure how he didn't! It was plugged Into the wall and the box was on...now the couch that he was chewing up daily doesn't seem so bad:)
We have just gone to Comcast in Port Murray to swap out. Only issue we ever had was, the one time they only had the big cable boxes on hand, and we prefer the smaller ones. We could have come back but we just put it in one of the bedrooms and took the one from the bedroom and put in the living room. Not sure about price though, we have only had to swap when they just stoped working. So no charge for us.

What a cutie! I can't help you with advice on your cable box, but I can tell you that you have an adorable puppy! Is he a pitbull? My son has a pup who looks alot like yours and he rescued him from a bad situation... he is a little doll... it's all about how you treat them! Good luck!
