maja Check into the Y's, I believe they have more than one program. Both Sussex County and Randolph run camps. I believe the local camps are run out of Randolph.

ianimal Hackettstown elementary schools offer 3 weeks of enrichment during July for students in H-town, Allamuchy & Great Meadows (Mornings only, though) - I will post again when they put out the 2016 brochure with details.....
There is a great camp in Johnsonburg! Go to www.campjburg.org to see all the programs they have for the summer and the different age groups. You won't be disappointed, I promise!

Tom Paradise There will be an afternoon program for kids at ClassicBallroom the week of July 11th to the 15th. It will run from noon to 2pm, with a snack provided, and will teach ballroom dance basics. Group I will be for students ages 5 to 11, and Group II will be for ages 12 and up. Classic Ballroom Dance Studio is at Hastings Square in the Hackettstown area.

Classic Ballroom Meadowbrook Day Camp- Very bad experience. Children are not well supervised, couselors are not trained well and we heard many, many stories about major safety issues at the camp. When these safety issues were addressed to the new owners, they did not seem to care at all. We know many parents that have told us horror stories of what their children say goes on at this camp and we also had a counselor tell us that they do not remedy the safety issues because they internally bicker over the costs that would be incurred to fix the problems. Do NOT send your children to Meadowbrook County Day Camp in Long Valley, NJ!
Scott Does Hackettstown Middle School have any summer camps/enrichment programs? I remember previous years being in a different district and receiving a brochure for summer programs, but I think they were for elementary age.
If not at the middle school, any place else in town? I tried asking for info at the school on Friday but they were busy with Field Day. And today I asked my daughter to bring some info home and the only thing she was given was something for Long Valley.
I'm not looking for all day camps. Just something close to home that's a few hours a day.
