Harkers Hollow
The old Harkers thread from 2012 is closed for comment and the other comments regarding Harkers are on the Apple Mountain thread.
I have been hearing good things about the food since the restaurant reopened several weeks ago. We are heading there tonight to check it out. The menu seems to be a good mix of choices with gluten free and vegetarian options as well as good old fashioned non-gluten free and carnivore selections. ;-)
Will review tomorrow.

Harkers Hollow is in harmony yes and Apple Mountain is on top of dutch hill oxford
We had a pleasant experience at Harkers. We both had burgers. The veggie burger was one of the best I have had. Husband's burger was cooked a perfect medium. Both came with shoestring fries which were cooked perfect, not greasy at all. We sat at the bar, of course, and both bartenders were very friendly and attentive. The view out the large windows was lovely.
Menu looks nice. Seem to specialize in half portions; that could be fun. Two people, three half portion: Tapas!
Anybody played golf there lately ? Talking to the new owner last year, they were going to improve the overgrown bunkers and tidy up the course. Would like to know if it's improved ... thx

Harkers Hollow is offering free golf with cart and a free buffet dinner to all Veterans on November 11th... (tee time and dinner reservations required - limited space available).
The flyer only mentions the dinner. The part about the golf was in the text of the email, copied below:
"Veterans contribute to American society in many ways; not just during their time in active duty. Throughout our history, military service members have put on their uniforms to protect the values and liberties that this nation was built on. But that doesn’t stop once the uniform comes off and their time in active duty has ended. Veterans take the lessons they have learned and the experiences they’ve gained and continue their service to our nation by strengthening our communities. They become our nation’s leaders, scientists, entrepreneurs. Veterans are the most active volunteers working to improve communities across our country. Service goes beyond the uniform. This Veteran’s Day, we honor the men and women who have worn their uniform who continue to serve our country.

At Harkers Hollow Golf Club and Uniontown Bar and Grill we echo this sentiment. As a small token of our deep appreciation to the brave Men and Women of our armed services, we are opening up Harkers Hollow Golf Club complimentary to veterans and active duty military service members on Veterans day.
Free golf including cart and free buffet dinner on Monday, November 11th.
