Found Tortie Kitten/Cat
Very friendly, was able to pick her up and starving. If anyone knows who this pretty kitty belongs to please contact me. I have her separated from my cats in my bathroom but I don't know how long I'll be able to keep her. I'm praying someone didn't just dump her outside
I don't use facebook or anything like that so feel free to repost. She's been seen hanging around the dumpsters of Alexandria apartments the past few days. There doesn't appear to be any fleas or ticks on her. She's very affectionate and does not like being left alone. I cant tell how old she is or if she's been fixed but she's too small to be an outside cat and too sweet to be feral.
Where was the kitty found? Please send info to Warren County NJ Lost and Found Pets
Call Rob(Animal Control). He maybe able to bring her to Common Sense for Animals. Please don't let it back outside. Poor baby :(

I live in the alexandria apartments near Donaldson farm, closer to the train tracks. I cant in good conscience throw her back outside. I'll keep her until the owner is found. She was yelling under a dumpster and followed my boyfriend back home. She knew how to use the litter box right away and shes more content in my lap than on the floor.
Bless you Rebecca for taking care of this starving baby in need until other arrangements can be made.
Something I wrote that might help you : )
If you need a home for your pet, there are rescues near you that you should call and email to see if they can help you find homes for the pets you have. You just go to Petfinder.com, Shelters and Rescues, and put in your town. I would only contact rescues, shelters may euthanize if they have too many animals.
Sometimes a rescue you call may be full and can’t help you, but if you call and email 50, or 100 rescues, someone will help you. You could also post on Craigslist. They have a pets section under Community. Just make sure you adopt to someone who won’t let the cat outside and that they don’t want to declaw…or that they won’t chain a dog up outside all the time.
In case you didn’t know, there are often low cost vaccinations and low cost spay/neuter services available. You can google to find these. Some towns even have free rabies vaccinations. Just google what state you’re in and what you’re looking for. Good luck!!!
Thank you so much Rebecca for rescuing this poor baby. ❤️
Hopefully the owners will reclaim her. Please keep us updated.
This is my cat I’m not too savvy with this website but please call me at (484)-541-9100
Happy to say this pretty kitty was reunited with her owner today! She managed to travel over 30 miles from east stroudsburg PA and has been missing nearly a month. Never give up on your missing critters and expand your searches! You never know where they'll turn up
That's amazing. That means she managed to get across the Delaware River, over the Route 80 bridge? Was she trying to go back to a home that her family had recently moved from? Glad she was reunited. Did she act like she remembered them?
Just a reminder to get your pets chipped.
I’m dubious the kitten actually belongs to this person who claimed her. Lost house cats don’t generally travel so far away from their homes. Either the person is mistaken about their ownership of the kitten or someone dumped here in the area where she was found. For the kitten’s sake I hope she’s going to be alright.
She had lots of pictures to confirm and her kitty was very relieved to see her. The owners brother lives in hackettstown and was visiting around the time she disappeared so she probably hitched a ride. (My cat was found when he was a kitten after falling out of a moving vehicle he had stowed away in during a cold night) A lot of strays linger around the apartments because so many people feed them
I was dubious too. That's why I wondered if the cat seemed to be familiar with the lady. Can't imagine tbat someone would drive 30 miles to pick up a stray that wasn't theirs, there are so many stray cats around. I'm happy that they were reunited. And thank you to Rebecca for caring.
