Driving schools

We are looking for a driving school for our shy, introverted 17 year old daughter. Any recommendations for someone that is extremely patient?

Here is a prior thread regarding driving schools.

My kids and I were very happy with Tigers Driving School. Both of their instructors were very approachable, understanding and kind. Not sure how shy your daughter is, but mine isn't exactly a social butterfly and she had a good rapport with her instructor and she came out a better driver than I was expecting.

My daughter had a wonderful experience with Poggi Driving School. They come to Hackettstown and Great Meadows.

My daughter had a great experience with Ken’s Driving School

Another vote for Poggi's. My daughter was hesitant about driving, but her instructor was great. And so was the man who took her for her test.

Tigers Driving School! Instructors are super patient, and kind. My daughter had terrible driving anxiety and they were great with her!

We used Tigers Driving school too and so far we were happy with them and will be using them again for my second child. Goodluck!

Tigers Driving School was okay, however I was very disappointed that our daughter’s 6 hours of instruction included no highway driving of any kind.

I wonder if they still teach students to keep right on multi-lane highways except to pass? Because every day there are drivers in the left (passing) lane that are going much slower than the cars passing them on the right. I see this in my travels all over New England, except hardly ever in Vermont.

Left lane drivers are everywhere. I never see signs about using the left lane for passing in some states and question if it's the law (Connecticut & Virginia come to mind) Pennsylvania had huge illuminated signs up for a while but it made no difference. Traffic would move much more efficiently if drivers kept right except to pass.
