Local road conditions...1/16/2024
Most roads look to be just wet. Pop on to various traffic cams for live updates. Perhaps some small secondary roads may have a little slush but I'm sure fine. This is just a few inches, nothing really. Just a typical minor January annoyance in the northeast.
My friend had a little fender bender this morning sliding into someone in a parking lot in Morris County. Just please be careful out there.

Greg - I'm curious - how do you pop onto various traffic cams for live updates. Is there a special website - Thanks!
Weatherbug.com has some.
I often look at 511nj.org. It gives many camera locations to view depending on where you are heading.

If you just google the town name you're looking for and "traffic cam," (i.e. - Hackettstown, NJ traffic cam), you'll usually get a page of cameras in the vicinity of that town. As @Greg says, most often it will be a page from weatherbug.com.
If you want to see weather conditions that are not necessarily associated with roadways, use "weather cam" in your search instead of "traffic cam." This will usually bring up some other cameras in the area.
