Independance TWP power outage
6 pm restore in indy with 500 out and liberty with 800 out but that’s a lie. They are not really here yet. Morris restored 12k. Hunterdon 5k. Warren 500 but much of that is from a double counting.
At least they fixed their double counting….
Same place, same problem, bad service where we are third to morris and hunterdon. Our county representatives should be so proud.
For the big one, 1,500 folks in Indy and I think Liberty, just updated the 12:30 am which changed to 12:00am on the 28th, to 2pm, no 6 pm, and NOW ---- the ETR has been set to 1 pm today!!!!
Since they don't seem to be here en masse yet, hopefully being the largest outage, it will be fixed first.
If you have a 6pm target date ---- be clear ---- they are giving you a no-later-than as in "we pray we are done by then," sort of ETR. Not rock solild and you should feel better if you get a second opinion like Indy just did. This is a major regional outage, usually they beat their final ETR pitch, but on this one ---- time will tell.
As of 8:30am, they seem to be entering the area having already surveyed it with the advance team. Hopefully we will see real improvement soon.
Still 1pm for Indy and probably the big one in Liberty if connected, as they often are.
JCPL text system claims 11:30pm as of 9am this morning. I rode by and there is no one working on thw downed lines on Ridge as of 10am. Just cones and a barricade in the street. As 5am the text system had 11am.
Sheesh was it THAT windy last night? I went to bed around midnight and the wind was around 16mph with 35mph gusts.

I'm currently having a brownout here in the Highlands off Russling Road. Anyone else? Yikes. I really need my fan.
Mine was off from 4:45 to 6:35, so not a few minutes. And seemed a lot longer without my fan moving the air around. Let's hope it stays on. And many thanks to the service people who go out to fix it every time.
I just received a robo-call about a planned electric outage for the Highlands development (Independence Twp) for this Friday between 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., weather permitting. They are doing some kind of maintenance. Hopefully this will put an end to the recent outages we've experienced. I'm not happy about not having power during this hot weather, but I suppose they have to do it at some point.
Did anyone else get this message? Just want to make sure it's legit.
