Lake Dock suggestions
A good friend of mine is looking to install a dock at the lake behind his house. The dock needs to go out at least 30 feet or so - in order to have enough lake depth for his pontoon boat.
He has gotten some quotes from a company that will install a floating dock that does not have to be removed in the winter- upwards of $15000.
That sounds like a lot of money for something that should be able to be fabricated for a lot less or another solution that can be removed from the lake seasonally for less cost.
Does anyone here have knowledge of a local company or person that can provide a better idea or price than that? Or just ideas in general?
The Rhyme Animal I would reach out to a few of the marinas on Lake Hopatcong. Those folks are a wealth of information when it comes to lake life, boats, docks, boat houses et al.
