Nail Salon Suggestions
I am looking at going to another salon mine is too expensive for me with $50 for a fill. Does anyone know of anything local that's cheaper than that ? Thank you.
I switched from Coco 2 to Davi Nails (Walmart) & changed from gel to acrylic which is cheaper than gel & pay $35. It's not a great atmosphere but I've been going for 6 months & my nails look good.
Nirvana Nails is very reasonable. They are located in Budd Lake. Chirs the Owner is who I see for my fills of gel and you are looking at maybe $35 or so.. He is also a great guy. Maybe give it a try!
As an older woman, it's difficult for me to trim my toenails. I don't want a pedicure, just someone to cut them, without leaving those rough, sock-chewing edges. Any recommendations? And cost estimate. Thanks.
I just went to see Chris at Nirvana! He did hard gel on my nails and then gel manicure and it was $35! He's very meticulous too.
Lonesome Dove, may I suggest looking on Amazon for pedicure tools specially designed for seniors. They have extended handles and magnifying glasses. Also explore different types of sponge backed buffers with long handles.
Good luck!
Lonesome Dove - my husband gets his toenails cut and Medicare pays for it. I believe it’s every 3 months that Medicare covers it. He went to Footcare Associates in Hackettstown. Call them if you have Medicare and check.
