Public Transportation

Are there any forms of public transportation in the Hackettstown/Warren County area?

There is the train on Valentine Street, as well as a bus which goes into New York City. As far as public transportation to get around locally, we do not have that available.

Virtually none. The train is a two hour ride to NYC. The Bus leaves from Panther Valley.
The County bus requires advanced request. Public Transportation within the local area is non existent. If you do not have your own transportation, Hackettstown is not good.

If we had it, where would you go? We don't have mass transit because we're hicks. Tell your friends that you are living in the sticks with the hicks. Lol

There's a shuttle that runs bimonthly that goes from hackettstown to Phillipsburg and back it stops at all grocery stores & the DMV. There's a train station in town but it only goes to Dover and not often and trains from NYC end at Dover. We used to have busses but haven't in a long time I am sure if needed you could also find people to carpool with
