Pretty Shoes for Large/Wide Feet (Women's Casual Styles)
Hi,
trying to shop for some nice shoes for my Mom for early holiday gifts.
I am having quite a horrible time trying to find shoes in a size 11 extra wide for my Mom as she is a nurse and is on her feet all day and night.
Spending range is around $200 max.
Can anyone recommend a nice pair of casual, well-made shoes from a reputable company that actually will look and feel terrific yet not look like "clogs" but attractive and feminine as well?
Some of the styles I am seeing look "mannish" and though sometimes that doesn't matter I do not want to gift her with that kind of look!
Advice needed, please! Thank you in advance.
AJMS I know the man I take care of is a size 12EEE & his wife ordered sneakers for him online from Brooks. I think they're in Pine Brook, not sure. Anyway, they fit very well. I think she paid $110.

Nordstrom has a variety of extra wide width shoes. Here’s a nice one in extra wide, size 11 for $1116.95 (for example)

Local Gal Google the brand Aetrex. They have fashionable and comfortable women's shoes some even with orthotics. Depending on what you get they are around $100. Hope this helps!
LL Dr. Scholl’s shoes are in larger sizes including extra wide for women. I think
Kohl’s sells them or you can always order them on line.

Try DSW website, you can select her size and width and shop from home. They might not have a good selection in her size at the store but They will ship them to the store for free. I just got a super comfortable and cute pair made by Earth Origins that don’t hurt my baby bunions. They even have extra wide widths. Another brand to search is Cobble Hill but I don’t thing DSW carries them.

In the meantime, I ordered Mom these for now (Woman Within site)- thought they were pretty for the summer and would go with everything (pix enclosed) - also good deal as they were originally 79 down to 19 now.

I have the same size foot and order many shoes from QVC. They offer Spenco, Vionic and many other brands that are stylish and comfortable. Order online - try on - if not loving send them back!
