bonv25 We have new neighbors that we know have Ukrainian heritage (they are flying the flag in front of their house). What would be a respectful gesture to acknowledge what is going on over ther when we go and meet them?
3wbdwnj I saw on the news that the Ukrainian fighters need tourniquets desperately. It’s easy to send them or other supplies via their Amazon wish list.
St Nicholas Church in Great Meadows is also collecting medical supplies and is open each evening around 6 PM or Saturday at 4 PM
Maythree A friend tried to donate to St Nicholas but was told when she called that the donation drive was for a limited time from March 8th-13th.
rose I was also wondering how to find some legitimate groups that are helping with rescuing the abandoned pets. I've seen several on FB but I hesitate because I don't want to send a donation to some group that is scamming us.
