Anyone been to Verdi Fresh recently? I’ve never been there but read some mixed reviews. Some people mentioned no pricing or weights on the receipts
Local Gal Been a while for me, I was put off by the new ownership a couple of years ago. Before that I had been a regular for a long time.
As always though, everyone should base their decisions on their own experiences.
only one truth Some produce good and some not. Same with prices. Need to just go and see.
Just watch out for expiration dates on items that provide it. I purchased expired items twice & had to return for a refund.
Joyce Polack Love the place and people! They get fresh produce every day at the auction in the city which is why prices and availability vary. Their grocery items are great with good buys on Asian condiments and bulk spices. They also stock chopped veggies at low prices for busy lifestyles.

joyful The address is 375 route 46 east . It's that little L shaped strip mall between Wolfe Road and the 7 Eleven - Mall at Wild Geese I believe it's called . Leaving there for 46 west it's much easier and safer to exit right on the road behind the mall which goes to Wolfe road - a right on Wolfe road to the light and then left at the light to 46 west .

97XBAM It's located in that same little strip ctr as the Dunkin Donuts! I love this place - I recently got some blueberries & strawberries that were marked down - were still great but u need to consume within the next few days! I shop there every so often but I always find a few gems - the very last place around where I feel like I can get a good deal! They offer a little of everything regarding fruits & veggies (as well as some unique cookies & candy too). Prices are usually really good!
CommonSense This is where I shop for produce I can't find at Shoprite, as I like Asian cooking.
Napa, bok choy, dried shitake, thai peppers, chinese eggplant, japanese murasaki sweet potato, bitter melon, bean sprouts, jicama, taro, etc etc.
They also have packaged international grocery items, some Asian (Korean, Chinese), such as dried noodles, kimchi, tofu, gochujang pepper paste, ramen, Korean snacks, etc though I wish they concentrated on it more, as it's kind of limited. Also, some Ukranian, Polish, European products which is random.
This place sort of highlights how much this area really needs a dedicated Asian supermarket like an HMart or Asian Food Market (I drive 50 minutes to the one in North Plainfield). I go to Verdi if I need something in a hurry.

Luca2 Prices are great, but fluctuate. Two weeks ago 1lb strawberries were 2 for 3 dollars and delicious! Blackberries 3 for 3 dollars. I think blueberries were 2 for 3 as well. This past week prices were up a bit but still cheaper than the grocery store.. Think we paid 1.99 for strawberries. Definitely doing the majority of our produce shopping there lately.
